How to Fix a Flubbed Summon

Narrating this wonderfully daft fantasy by L N Clarke had me laughing all the way through the job. Across assorted magical locations, the author created no end of hilarious and bizarre characters, including a shy clumsy apothecary who has Sorceror's Apprentice style messed up a spell (flubbed the titular summon); a kick-ass, octopus-legged female bounty hunter; and a swordsman made of sand. This was the book that cemented audiobook narration as definitely My Thing - it was so much fun! I got to play every imaginable pitch, timbre and accent I could think of, which is usually inadvisable but really worked for this story. If you like your escapism light and comical, this book is definitely for you. Available here on Audible and on other platforms.
