I collect your name and contact information, including your email address, on my website and emailing list so that I can provide you with services, including responding to your correspondence with me.
I collect data in order to provide services to my students and I process it under 'contractual obligation' or 'legitimate purpose'. I will never sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless I
have your permission or am required to by law. I will always ask for your consent before adding you to my contact database. I will clearly explain that I may periodically send promotional emails about new
classes, special offers or other information which I think you may find beneficial, to the email address you have provided.
If you subscribe to my mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the
instructions at the foot of my emails. I will only ever store your personal information for the time I need it; for example, for my teaching records, or if you have asked me to send you newsletters. If you unsubscribe, I will delete your information; but I may keep my teaching records that relate to you for a year after you unsubscribe because of my obligation to provide proof of my services to governing bodies.
If you ask me to contact you via the contact form on my website, I will contact you by email first and then possibly phone you too. Please inform me of any changes to your contact information. If at any point you would prefer not to receive such calls or e-mails, please do let me know.
If I have a photograph/photographs of my working with you and even if you have given permission for me to use it/them on my website or in my marketing material, you have the right to ask me not to use it/them any longer and to delete it/them.
You have rights relating to my storage and use of your personal data including: the right to ask me to delete all your personal data; the right to refuse allowing me to use your data for marketing purposes; and the right to know what data of yours I am processing and how.
You also have the right to raise a complaint with the ICO if you are unhappy with any aspect of my collecting, storing or using your personal data.
