About me
I arrived at audiobook narration through my arts podcast, and found 'my thing' - 3 years on, I've narrated 40 books. Feel free to browse them on my narrated books page. I love the adventure of disappearing into a different world in each book
.
Acting trained during my English & Drama degree, I went on to work in the film industry (where I met my husband film producer/director Bill Butt), first in production then screen composition.
We live in Bristol, but I grew up in Wolverhampton and a piece of my heart will always remain in the Black Country.
I have the honour of voicing Emily Hobhouse in The Story of Emily Museum, Liskeard Cornwall.
If you're interested in hiring me as a narrator or voice over, I'll be delighted to hear from you, and will be happy to provide a bespoke sample up to 5 minutes long in your preferred format, usually wav or mp3.

"...most importantly, she understood that the narrator was a character to be played, not ‘themselves reading a book’… sounded exactly like the book sounds in my head."
