Been noodling around developing me bossa nova guitar noises.
It’s a particular chordal language which takes ages to improve;
there are a few gorgeous chords that are really easy but to get
interesting variations takes the sort of proper slog that I’m
somewhat averse to. What’s brilliant fun, though, is trying
the bossa nova and samba style on all sorts of other tunes.
Currently, Stevie Wonder’s ‘Another Star’ works great…
Look forward to road-testing that come autumn.
